Beginning a few months after finishing under-graduate school and continuing on to the present, the twenty-eight years I have spent living and working throughout the Asian, Pacific and Middle East regions have been one of contrasting experiences. From my first international posting as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Fiji Islands in the early 80′s to my most recent role as a Director of Information Technology at Surabaya International School in Surabaya, Indonesia, I have gone from thatch-roofed island life to megalopolis living in some of the world’s largest cities. Now, as I take time away from the workforce, I am setting aside time to reflect on those years. These pages will thus serve as a semi-private medium for personal and professional reflection.
